Metal Gear Solid V Metacritic Score:
I’d previously stated that I was being cautious of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Not because I don’t like the game series, because I do, but mainly due to the developer’s inconsistent themes.
However, the first batch of reviews have been released onto Metacritic today revealing that it has achieved an average review of 95/100, making it the most critically acclaimed game of the year.
Critics have applauded Metal Gear Solid V‘s open world and non-linearity, stating that it’s a new Metal Gear experience.
The score is susceptible to change, but the critical acclaim is undeniable.
I will be reviewing Metal Gear Solid V once I get to play it, but for now I can admit that my previous criticisms of the game don’t prevent it from being a great experience.
